Happy Healthy Holidays
Wakefield Council have funded 10 new providers and are now working with over fifty voluntary and community organisations, local schools, local authority teams and childcare providers to provide a summer holiday of free activities and food for children and families eligible for income–related free school meals throughout the district. The programme is running in over 60 venues across the district from the 1st till the 26th of August, with up to 25,000 places available to children, young people and families.
The booking website is now live at Happy Healthy Holidays - Wakefield Council. Activities will be running from the 1st to the 26th of August. There are lots of activities on offer including dance, football, arts and crafts, day trips, forest schools, sports activities, cooking, food and nutrition activities and much more!

Normanton School Uniform Exchange
FREE good quality, secondhand school uniform is available from the Normanton School Uniform Exchange. Donations of unwanted uniforms are made available to anyone that needs it at no cost. Simply email normyuniform@gmail.com with a list of what you need, then every Tuesday they will bag up the items they have available and arrange for collection. They also have a Facebook Group which you may want to join https://www.facebook.com/groups/1731718387000531. Donations of unwanted uniform can be dropped off in the collection bin at Normanton Library, they are open daily except Wednesday and Sunday.
