On Friday the 7th of February, Outwood Academy Freeston participated in NSPCC’s Number Day. The NSPCC runs Number Day every year to raise funds through numeracy based activities and fun.
Outwood Academy Freeston helped raise funds for the NSPCC by having a “Crazy Socks to School Day” raising a total of £46.80 and the academy hosted a Numeracy based treasure hunt with questions hidden in each department. The pupils responded to this activity wonderfully and some lucky pupils will be receiving prizes for successfully completing the hunt.
